Look, we get it. It’s easy to be seduced by a basement bargain (we’ve all been there). And when it comes to security, those cookie cutter solutions might seem to ‘do the job’ on the surface. But time and time again, the old adage rings true - you only get out what you put in. Eventually all those cut corners, missed details and dishonest workmanship will be revealed, by which time a willingness to accept responsibility goes AWOL.

At Rubixx, near enough is never good enough. We’d rather watch paint dry than settle for second best. To us, run-of-the-mill, reproducible solutions are a perpetual yawnfest that repeats in business security over and over with predictably underwhelming results. Examples of how we think better

There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all security solution. If that’s what you’ve signed up for, at some point the disappointment will come – and chances are, there’ll be no one to call, leaving you out of pocket.

This is selfish, small-minded thinking, and it’s the reason we decided to lead from the front making in-roads in reforming the security industry by standing for better. At Rubixx, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to think laterally to ensure we find new ways of saving you money and making life easier, for all.

For example, when developers and builders engage us from the outset of a project, we can design out duplicated equipment and complete the fit-out, all during the construction phase. This is a key strategy. Our security, access control, automation and datacom solutions substitute unnecessary equipment and hardware that would otherwise be installed by default (such as timers for lights, presence sensors and default door hardware).

This one simple decision alone has a flow-on effect to a range of benefits. By avoiding the need to replace these parts down the track, we save you money on equipment and labour and avoid fitout delays and re-work by installing cabling and equipment during first fix.

Ultimately, it’s of little to no benefit to us to recommend this in the first place (apart from making us look good). But knowing we’ve helped you keep your costs under control is how we reap the rewards.

Rubixx isn’t like other so-called ‘security’ businesses. To lump us in with your garden variety locksmiths, CCTV and alarm installers would be to completely underestimate our potential to benefit you.
