consulting
Planning a new project is an exciting time. It’s also a stressful time where decisions are locked in that will determine whether future consequences are positive or negative.
At Rubixx, we see the planning stage as an exciting opportunity. Experience tells us that smart decisions made now pay real dividends down the track. Even without knowing anything about your project, we can say confidently we’ll save you money from the outset by engaging us early. Our equipment and hardware substitutes the default installation items (such as timers for lights, presence sensors and default door hardware) that would otherwise be wastefully installed, meaning we can reduce your net upgrade cost to almost zero.
So if you’re planning a new development, we encourage you to consult us during the planning and design stage so we can engineer a premium solution that leads to reduced costs and complexity, increased functionality, ease of use and a positive ROI.
Insights from the old way
As a self-professed leader in advanced security solutions, we’re proud to carry the torch for the industry if it means lighting up a better way. When you view traditional security against what we’re doing, the difference is night and day.
The future security solution
Today's systems are too complex to leave until after the painters have left. Too many valuable opportunities are lost if security isn’t designed in early. An integrated system that includes everything from the gating to lighting, access control, security and CCTV adds enormous value through dramatically improved functionality and accountability. We call it engineered simplicity - a complex yet exhilarating new strategy that has opened the door for previously unimaginable possibilities. All it takes is an open mind and a commitment to thinking differently, the Rubixx way.
How to engineer the right solution
Rubixx offers a refreshingly collaborative approach to security. Too many clients are made to feel like they have to make all the decisions (alone) prior to contacting security providers. The problem with that is they often ask the wrong questions.
That’s easy to understand – security isn’t your strong point. But just like you’re a specialist in your area, we’re specialists in ours, up-to-date with technology trends and changes in requirements in different sectors, while also aware of the combinations and tools that come together to create holistic, user-focussed solutions.
Think about all the innovative businesses based on collaboration - Airbnb, Uber, Airtasker. They developed out of new ways of thinking, bringing together and harnessing what already existed, then re-framing it to deliver a better outcome.
That’s why we love working on Greenfields projects. It’s the excitement of working with a blank canvas where we get to immerse ourselves in the ecosystem of your project, studying the interplay of different elements then working together to engineer an exceptional outcome for you.
So if you’ll allow us to help you, together we can understand the needs of your project to develop a comprehensive solution with engineered simplicity.
Specification
A well-engineered solution should be developed by a licenced security consultant who should consider all the variables specific to the site, the client, and the end user. Once the security specification is achieved, it is then awarded to an experienced integrator / installer.
Installation
The installer must be licensed and hold a cablers licence. Because security and communication technicians understand the different communications protocols and the specific cables that are required, they understand intricacies like minimum bend radii, hauling tension, maximum length and segregation from other services.
Post installation
After the system is installed, it is programmed and commissioned. This is our favourite part of the process, where we get to put it all together, all the little details, the cool automation and the integration. Then we test it all, hard, and If we can't break it then we're satisfied.
Legal requirements
Here’s a scary thought… Did you know that most professional indemnity insurance policies are void if the insured is unlicensed for the activity they are performing?
Security is a complex and specialised field that requires the solutions provider to hold several statutory licences. In fact, private security activities within Western Australia are governed by the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 and the Security and Related Activities (Control) Regulations 1997.
So when choosing who you trust on your site, with Rubixx you know our professionals take security seriously.
